Melissa Meadows

Melissa Meadows is an artistic powerhouse whose versatility spans from touch screen to canvas. Her talents include graphic design, illustration, fine art and creative direction. Her work is both niche as well as mainstream from comic book covers and children’s cartoons to magazines, websites, branding, logo design and media kits. With a BFA in Graphic Design from Virginia Tech and over 20 years of experience and Adobe software proficiency, she creates visually appealing designs across all mediums.

Her diverse client roster includes Boy Meets Girl, Discovery Education, MedStar Health and Loyola University to name a few.

She started her career in-house as a graphic artist at A & A Global Industries, showcasing her illustration skills on such notable American childhood favorites as Strawberry Shortcake and Dora the Explorer. In addition, she has developed graphics that served as the inspiration for a variety of animated Discovery Education TV shows and DVDs. Over the years, she continued to refine her skills across everything from style guides and candy packaging to toy merchandising and licensing including having her hand at illustrating a plethora of Nickelodeon cartoons like SpongeBob SquarePants, Warner Bros. characters and even the American classic, Mr. Potato Head.

Having further pursued and earned her Masters in Communications from Notre Dame of Maryland University, she’s since expanded her client-base to include such verticals as higher education and healthcare. Her in-house experience as creative director at Notre Dame of Maryland University and long term consulting for MPK&D has contributed to her broad experience and exceptional technical skills to develop collateral pieces that are unique to each client.

When she’s not painting, designing or drawing, Melissa fills her time with her other passion…her kids.
